Digital v Prints
Owning a digital copy of an image gives you the most options because it essentially means that you have the 'negative' and you can make as many copies or prints as you like. Ordering prints or other products like stretched canvas or keyrings online from stores like Big W and the like is now easy and very cheap and you don't even have to leave home.

And because they're digital you can send them as emails, store them in your phone, use them as a screen saver - it's up to you.

High and low resolution?

Low resolution means small file sizes. You would use these for emailing, web pages, storing in phones, etc. but not for printing as they don't contain enough detail and will come out grainy.

High resolution (large file sizes) are for printing. The bigger file size ensures more detail and will give you a quality print at almost any size (but can be difficult to email).

The advantages of a private gallery

Being able to select your images from a private gallery on this website (with the use of a login code) is by far the easiest and most convenient way.

It means you don't have to travel to the photographer's studio.

It means you won't be pressured by a salesperson.

And it means you can take your time. You can make a selection, come back to it later, add or delete as you like and place the order when you're ready.

But perhaps the biggest advantage is that you can give that login code to relatives and friends, who may be interstate or overseas, and they can also view the same images and place orders.
